Merry Christmas Ornaments

The beginning of December I posted a card with an ornament that I had made using the negative pieces of both a red and green ornament from the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Dies.  I had both ornaments sitting on my card desk waiting to be used, so that's exactly what I did!  I made two of the same card, just reversed the colors and used the sketch over at Craft Project Central HERE.  It's a clean a simple sketch and I love it!

I love how these cards turned out, but I have to admit it was kind of hard to get a decent picture with the silver in the ornaments reflecting the light! lol  The silver that I used came from the Stampin' Up! kit Cottage Greetings.  They had silver foil envelope liners and I though to myself, "No way am I going to line those envelopes with that!  They're just going to get thrown away!".  I knew I could use it on some Christmas cards and that's exactly what I did. :)

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

“English Garden” Box & Cards!

Need a fantastic, useful, and attractive gift for someone special?  You will enjoy making this project, and the recipient will cherish it!  Create six pockets to hold an assortment of cards, a box to hold the pockets, and this tutorial also includes instructions for six assorted—coordinating—greeting cards to start filling the pockets.  Once you give this box of cards to a special someone, don’t forget to replenish the cards throughout the year on holidays, special occasions, or just because.  This ensemble would be great for a stamp camp.

Beauty of the Season

I'm late!  I'm late! For a very important date!  Well I'm not really late for an important date, but I sure am late for my Try Stampin' on Tuesday post.  I logged on to check out our next sketch thinking I'd be working ahead a little bit only to find out I was LATE! Not sure how I missed it, but thankfully I created a card for my winter stamp a stacks that is pretty similar to today's sketch and the optional theme is snowflakes.

Make sure you stop by Try Stampin' on Tuesday HERE to check out what the other designers created.  If you get a chance to play along we'd love to see what you create!

As you can tell I used a retired stamp set and retired framelits.  Sometimes it's just nice to pull out some of the older stuff I have and see what I can create with them, especially when it comes to making Christmas cards.  I used to make the same one for everyone, but that isn't the case anymore.  It's nice to have a variety to send out. :)

Winter Holiday Punch Art Tag Set!

Today I'm posting the second project from Craft Project Central.  These cute holiday punch art tags were created by Yapha Mason and you can find the tutorial for them at Craft Project Central.  Just a reminder that I am giving away one FREE monthly subscription for the month of December to Craft Project Central.  That's 10 tutorials for free!  I will give you all the details mid December.  :)

Punch art is a fun way to create images that you may not have stamps for, as well a great way to get extra mileage out of your punches. In this project we will create punch art images for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year’s Eve. Each of these images is part of a cute tag, and all of the tags fit nicely in a decorative box. Includes a matching card for gift giving. These fun punch art designs are great for a club or a class, or just a fun winter afternoon of crafting.
