Beautiful Bough Dies ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Today's card is inspired by Try Stampin' on Tuesday's sketch challenge #438.
This sketch was a bit of a bugger for me, but while working on Christmas cards for my stamp a stack I came up with this card which is similar to what we made.
Here is this week's sketch. I didn't do the optional theme this time which is Birthday Fun since I was working on Christmas cards.  I guess you could turn it into a winter birthday card if you needed to though.
Make sure you check out what the other designers created with this sketch HERE. And if you get a chance to play along we'd love to see what you create!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Rooted in Nature ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Today's masculine card is inspired by Try Stampin' on Tuesdsay's sketch challenge #436.
I needed a birthday card for my brother-in-law so I decided to use this week's sketch to make it.  It's not my norm for a guys card, but I went with it anyway.
This is the sketch for this week and the optional theme is cozy backgrounds.  Since I don't use DSP I had to make my own backgrounds.  Not sure it's cozy, but it's a background.  Check out what all of the other designers created HERE. If you get a chance to play along we'd love to see what you create!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Nature's Beauty ~ A Stampin' Up! Card!

Today's card was inspired by a card I saw in the SU! 2019 Holiday Catalog on p. 27.  My card doesn't look anything like their card, but it got an idea going and I created from there.

Seaside Notions ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Today's card is inspired by Try Stampin' on Tuesday's sketch challenge #434.
I decided to play with my "new to me" set that I got in my last Stampin' Up! order.
If I don't use the circle on my card for a moon I usually will put some sort of flower on my card, but this time I decided to try something a little different.  Why not a seahorse???
Make sure you check out what the other designers created using this week's sketch HERE.  If you get a chance to play along we'd love to see what you create!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Lovely as a Tree ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Today I thought I'd share a card I made for my nephew's birthday using one of my favorite stamp sets that's retiring and using a "technique" that I love...watercolor with ink pads.

Lovely as a Tree Take Two ~ Stampin' Up! Cards

Last week I shared a group of cards I created using the retiring stamp set Lovely as a Tree.  Today I'm sharing a few more...
If you look at the collage I'd say I favor the color blue for most of my cards!
If you would like to purchase this set make sure you do it soon!  May 24 is the last day this set is available.  After that it's until supplies last.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Have You Noticed Any Changes???

Hey! I've been absent a lot lately, posting only a couple of times a month.  It was nice to have a bit of a break, but I also miss creating and sharing with all of you. You may have noticed a few changes on my blog if you popped in and you will notice a few more in the next week.

So what is happening? I have decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator...again!  I'm very excited to be a part of a team...you got it...again!  I have missed that a LOT the past 6 months and I'm ready to share and create with new product.  I don't have a lot yet, so it's going to be slow going.  Thanks for sticking around to see what I've been creating since November of 2010!

Here is something that I worked on at our last craft night at church.  Now I need to actually make it into a card...stayed tuned for that.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!
