Thoughts of You

Here's another card we made at this month's stamp a stack.  I hadn't used this set in a while and thought it would be nice to use it again.  I also wanted a card that went together pretty quickly and this one did. :)

Also don't forget about the retiring stamp sets and accessories.  The retiring stamp sets HERE are available until June 3, and the accessories HERE are available while supplies last!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

RHSSC19 - Amour

Well, I sure have been enjoying the snow we've had so far here in Michigan!  I really don't like being cold, but I do like seeing everything covered with the white fluffy stuff. I especially enjoy seeing the trees covered in white. :)  Now on to today's card...it's Sunday so that means it's time for another Red Hot challenge.  Here is my take on the sketch. I'm not big into Valentine's Day, but thought I'd do a card that's half way there by using some Valentine colors and adding "amour". :)

You can join in the challenge too if you'd like.  Just head over to the Red Hot Stampers blog here.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Artistic Etchings ~ SQSC 2

Well, I've been busy the last couple of days trying to get things together and ready for school...and it's my last year homeschooling!  So glad to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel!  Of course I had to take some breaks and check out all the sketch challenges I could be working on and finally gave in last night and did one.  I'm hoping to sneak a couple more in today and tomorrow too. :)  I started with Stampin Queens Sketch Challenge.

I wanted to make something vintage.  I keep seeing so many beautiful cards made that way and decided to try my hand at it.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Artistic Etchings

Well, I'm finally ready to start blogging again after a much needed break.  I had a nice getaway to Gatlinburg, Tennessee last week and have been busy getting cards ready for my July Stamp a Stack this week.  Here are a few pics of the trip.  Nope, that's not me in the pic...I wouldn't get that close!  The momma is in the woods and that's her first cub.

Here are her second and third cubs.

I was able to get a nice shot of this butterfly when it decided to rest a minute. :)

These are some beautiful falls we hiked up to...

And now finally to today's card.  It's from last month's stamp a stack that I never posted.  It was also my favorite card out of the five I had for the ladies to make that night.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Artistic Etchings

Wow has the last week been busy for me!  I bet most of you can say the same thing.  Seems like I was either working on my cards for my June Stamp a Stack, at work or somewhere on the go!  I hope the next couple of weeks slow down a little bit!
Today's card is one I thought about using for my stamp a stack, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for.  It seems like I come up with an idea, but my first one is never quite the one.  Anyone else have that problem?!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!
