Peaceful Cabin ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

I know, I know...I'm using the stamp set Peaceful Cabin again. I just had to try it with a touch of color after making two black and white cards. The sketch is a challenge from Try Stampin' on Tuesday and you can use the sketch, add an element with one or more folds or do both. I did both...the Happy Anniversary pops up and you can write a little note inside of it.

Nature's Harvest ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Do you love Cone Flowers! I sure do! Especially after I stopped by the greenhouses at the beginning of September and bought three plants. I didn't realize how many different colors they can come in! I had a hard time choosing what colors to get! After I bought this stamp set is when I decided to get some coneflowers of my own.

Peaceful Cabin ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Last week a shared a quick card I made using the stamp set Peaceful Cabin. It was kind of a funky card with the huge mountain on it that's for sure (it went with a sketch challenge and I think I was in too much of a hurry! lol). Now I want to show you the first card I created using that stamp set.

Art Gallery ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Before I go into detail about today's card I need to let those of you who get my blog posts by email know that you are going to notice that your email is being sent through someone new called follow.it. I just wanted to give you a heads up since feedburner is no longer available and it will most likely look different. I guess I'll find out too when I get my email.

Always and Forever ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Today I have a card to share that some people love and others hate...
white on white!
Since I have a wedding this weekend I figured this would be the perfect time to get that card made since I have to have it posted asap.
This sketch was inspired by Try Stampin' on Tuesday's sketch challenge #510. It's a sketch and technique challenge. You can do one or the other, or if you feel up to it both! If you get a chance to play along we'd love to see what you create!
Check out what the other designers created HERE.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Daisy Garden ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Today I have a lovely daisy card to share that I made for someone special.
It was my mom's birthday last week and I managed to make her a card on time, but posting it is another story. I sure wish I loved to write and knew how to put the thoughts from my head onto paper that was enjoyable for others to read AND do it quickly! Anyone else feel that way?
This was a fun card to create, but it did take a bit of time. If you love to color then this is the card for you! I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored everything using Stampin' Blends. I also added a bit of Wink of Stella in the center of the flowers to give them a bit of shimmer. All of the colors and products used will be listed below.

Misted Watercolor ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Today's share is something I wanted to try that I saw on Splitcoaststampers a few weeks ago called Misted Watercolor. I also did a challenge with Team Stamp Camp called Simple Stamping. Not sure it's simple, but it is one layer, stamps and ink. That's it. I just used watercolor instead of stamping the ink on.
I thought I'd use a couple of stamp sets that are about to retire for this technique. The first stamp set I used was Good Morning Magnolia. I used this stamp set quite a bit since I bought it. I can't resist flowers!
The second stamp set I used is Band Together. I didn't use this stamp set as much, but it's still so pretty and I'm sad to see it go.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Welcoming Window ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Spring is here in Michigan and I'm loving it! We've had warmer than average weather and the trees and flowers are budding and blooming just a bit earlier than normal! That as well as sketch #502 over at Try Stampin' on Tuesday inspired today's card.

Forever Blossoms ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

I'm back with another card today trying to do a technique that just did NOT want to work for me! What was the technique? Can you tell by the little snippet?

Art Gallery ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Today I have a card to share with you that I'm sending my friend for her birthday. I wonder if she'll see it on here first or if she'll get it in the mail. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
