Spooky Time

Today's card is my design for Try Stampin' on Tuesday

...Spooky Time.  I sure am glad I won Witches' Brew DSP a while back because I've used it quite a few times to make cards for sketch challenges and designs for Halloween this year.  I have to say I don't have ANY Halloween stamps other than the "Happy Halloween" I stamped inside this card because it comes with the Seasonal Sayings stamp set.  Check out what the other designers made using this sketch.  Why not play along with us too.  Remember the theme is optional, so if you like the sketch and don't do Halloween anything else is just fine!

Just a quick post for today since I haven't posted anything for the past couple of days.  I wanted to enter a card into Freshly Made Sketches, and since fall colors are in full swing I wanted to make a card with all the wonderful colors I saw while driving to and from church.

I couldn't resist adding color to the inside of the card. :)

Today's card is a pretty clean and simple one inspired by the Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge.  Since I had pulled this set out to show to someone at my stamp a stack I thought I would use it since it's been a while.  Plus I needed a birthday card for my nephew. :)

Today's card is a color challenge from 'Tis The Season...Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz with the optional trim of adding glitter. I wasn't sure how the colors would look together, but I think I actually got them to work out. :)  So did the other ladies so make sure you check out all the other designers' cards and play along with us HERE too!  When I made my first card I was only going to make the snowflakes glittery, but that took too long because I'd have to clean the stamp off every time I stamped it.  That's when I decided to make the whole top piece sparkle instead of just the snowflakes.  The vote at my house was for the 2nd card that was all glittery. ;)

Today's card is my design for this week's Try Stampin' on Tuesday.  I didn't really flip the card, just decided to make it horizontal instead of vertical since it suited the set I was using a little better.  It's also the second masculine card for this month's stamp a stack.  After I figured out all of my cards I realized they are all white with blue or blue and green on them except this one. lol   Yup, it's the odd one out. :)

Just a quick post for today.  This is one of the cards I'll be using for this month's stamp a stack.  It was inspired by this week's Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge.  To get the blue and green color behind the stamp I used a sponge and rubbed it back and forth and re-inked it until I got it as dark as I wanted it.

A couple of weeks ago I made a box using Witches' Brew DSP for the Creative Crew on Splitcoast Stampers.  When I showed it to my daughter she asked if I would make another one so she could give them to give to the kids she nannies.  I had to change the paper that I used since I didn't have enough to do it the same way as the other.  I decided to enter this box in The Paper Players sketch challenge for this week since it's "Trick or Treat" a Halloween card or treat holder.  If you'd like to see my other box click HERE.

Cut an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of card stock or DSP

Score 1" around all edges

Score at 3 3/4" and 4 3/4" down from the long edge
