Beautiful Butterflies

Ok, so I get a butterfly stamp set and I'm all about butterflies! lol  I wanted to create something different, yet simple for my August stamp a stack and this is one of the cards I came up with.  You can barely tell from the picture, but I used the Flower Garden embossing folder and did paper piercing on all of my ovals.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Friday Mashup! ~ Happiest Birthday

Yes, it's another carnation, but I had a birthday on my list of "3-D flower cards" I needed to make.   Hmm...wonder if that even makes sense to anyone, but it does to me! lol  Today is a co-worker's birthday, and I wanted to make a special card for her.  Since I knew I wanted a carnation this week's Friday Mashup! was the perfect sketch challenge for it.

Papillon Potpourri

Well, I woke up this morning only to realize I forgot to schedule my post today, and on top of that my internet was down. lol That's just the way it goes sometimes.  Well all is good now, so on to showing you my cards.  I like to tuck 3x3 cards as thank yous in my orders, and they're so fun and easy to make too.  I bought the set Papillon Potpourri not too long ago and decided to play with it a little bit.  So easy to make these butterflies!  Just stamp, punch and sponge. :)

RHSSC 50

It's Sunday, so that means it's time for another Red Hot Stampers' sketch challenge.  I must say, this was a hard one for me!  Last week I whipped out a card in about 20 minutes, but not this week. lol  It took a little thinking!  I decided I wanted to do a Christmas card because I've seen so many out there lately...and here is what I came up with.  To see a few other cards from this challenge click here.

Happiest Birthday

So, does anyone recognize today's card?  If you've been following my blog since last December, it might look a little familiar.  I made this card in greens last December for my Christmas card stamp a stack.  Anyway, I was asking some of the ladies last month for suggestions and my mom said she really liked the green card and wouldn't mind making it again, so I thought I'd try it in pink.  To see my Christmas card click here. Once again, thanks to Audra Bonner for the inspiration. :)

For You ~ Bridal Shower Card

Well, I must say, today's card is definitely not the norm for me!  The design and the 3-D flower both are, but not the colors!  Where did I happen to find this combination?  From Stampin' Celebration...who just happened to move their blog.  Yup, I was wondering where they had disappeared to, so I had to check out their next challenge which happened to be gray, yellow and white with just a touch of green.  Lucky for me I just bought a shower gift for someone and needed gray on a card to go with the wrapping paper that this particular store offers.  I must say I really like how this card turned out.  Glad I gave it a try. :)

Mixed Bunch Triple Layer

Today's card is not the norm for my cards, but I've seen them all over the place lately!  I made one at my upline's demo meeting last week and thought I'd give one a try myself. :) I plan on using this technique for a card at my next stamp a stack, just not sure if this is the card I'll be using or not.
