Today's cards were inspired by sketch #670 at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.
I needed Mother's Day cards and I thought this week's sketch was perfect for them!
I used a new set called Gallery Blooms. One of the stamps has two flowers with leaves and I was able to do some masking to make it look like a line of flowers to match this week's sketch. I stamped the images, then used a water painter and reinkers to watercolor everything. I always make similar cards every Mother's Day, but switch the colors or design just a bit. I loved both blues and couldn't decide which color to give which mom, so I let my hubby decide what to give his mom. Here is the sketch we used. As you can see one card followed the sketch and the other one was rotated. Make sure you take a look at what all of the other designer's created HERE. If you get a chance to play along we'd love to see what you create!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
