Hues of Happiness ~ A Stampin' Up! Card!

Today's anniversary card is inspired by Sketch #669 at Try a Sketch on Tuesday and the Double Trouble Challenge
When I first started my card I pulled out some colored cardstock because I was going to create my own background. However I decided to use some retired DSP from Stampin' Up! instead. That made things go a lot faster, especially since I cut the flowers from the same DSP and didn't need to color them.
Working from two challenges can be challenging, but because I was able to use our sketch and use Thing 3's optional twist which is "flowers", plus the 3, 2, 1 Recipe - 3 layers (not including the base), 2 colors of choice from the color wheel and 1 background must be patterned paper it helped me create a little faster. I also found out I can enter my card in an alternate challenge for DTC called Beautiful Blossoms. I love flowers so I can't resist that!

Make sure you check out what our designers created using the above sketch HERE. If you get a chance to play along we'd love to see what you create!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Sara

  3. Love that you were inspired by our 3-2-1 recipe creating pretty quickly using our ingredients and making a beautiful dimensional floral by fussy cutting your florals using coordinating patterned papers. Gorgeous card... Sarah, thank you for combining your DT card with us at Double Trouble. You might also want to earn another chance at our random drawing at DTC by entering your card at our alternate challenge at Beautiful Blossoms.
