Today's anniversary card is inspired by Sketch #669 at Try a Sketch on Tuesday and the Double Trouble Challenge.
When I first started my card I pulled out some colored cardstock because I was going to create my own background. However I decided to use some retired DSP from Stampin' Up! instead. That made things go a lot faster, especially since I cut the flowers from the same DSP and didn't need to color them.
Working from two challenges can be challenging, but because I was able to use our sketch and use Thing 3's optional twist which is "flowers", plus the 3, 2, 1 Recipe - 3 layers (not including the base), 2 colors of choice from the color wheel and 1 background must be patterned paper it helped me create a little faster. I also found out I can enter my card in an alternate challenge for DTC called Beautiful Blossoms. I love flowers so I can't resist that!Make sure you check out what our designers created using the above sketch HERE. If you get a chance to play along we'd love to see what you create!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Sara
