Christmas Cheer in July

For today's card I thought I'd look through the blog challenges I follow and make a card using one of them since I haven't done any in a while.  Well, I ended up picking two.  For my theme I used this week's Friday Mashup...make a card using a Christmas/Hanukkah Project with Stripes.  For my sketch I used this week's challenge from the Paper Craft Crew.  The colors are a little different than normal for Christmas, but that's what I wanted, and boy did I have a bugger of a time getting a picture to come out looking nice between the gold embossed ornaments and the smooch spritz I used! lol

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

  1. What a terrific card using non-traditional colors! The ornaments and shimmer background are beautiful Sara!

Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Friday Mashup!

  2. Love the different look of the ornaments in the lower corner, and all the smooch and embossing is so elegant! Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.

  3. I love how you used the stamp from gorgeous grunge!!! This is absolutely beautiful in all of it's golden shimmery-ness!!

Thank you for your comments. I read everyone! If you ever wonder how I've made something I'd be glad to let you know! Sara
