Mixed Bunch Triple Layer

Today's card is not the norm for my cards, but I've seen them all over the place lately!  I made one at my upline's demo meeting last week and thought I'd give one a try myself. :) I plan on using this technique for a card at my next stamp a stack, just not sure if this is the card I'll be using or not.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

The Open Sea at Night

Well, I'm posting today's card a little later than normal, but I guess it's better late than never, right?  I knew I needed a masculine b-day card and love The Open Sea set, but I feel like I always use this one and use the same colors over and over again.  So I decided to try something different...black and white.  That's part of this week's Friday Mashup!
challenge...Black and White/Some Bling.  I wasn't sure if I could pull off a masculine card with just two colors with this set, but I must say I LOVE how this card turned out!  Sorry to say I couldn't really add too much bling to this guys card though, so I just went with adding the moon and stars with a couple popped up pieces on the bottom. lol  I can't forget where I got the design for this card either because that's where this whole idea really started...the Stampin Queens Sketch Challenge.  Thanks to both of these challenges for giving me a little inspiration today. :)

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

RHSSC - Warmest Wishes

Well, I took a break this past week from blogging, but definitely not card making.  Friday our church had an all day craft day and one thing I did was figure out the design for my Christmas card and cut my card stock for all ninety cards...woo who!!   I also spent last Sunday and Monday traveling home from a wedding, shopping a little in Michigan City with the family, then stopping to pick up our two doggies, Slinky and Buster, from our wonderful friends who are willing to watch them when we travel.
Ok, now on to the Red Hot Stamper's sketch challenge for this week...  I wasn't sure what to do for this sketch at first, but after I grabbed the Flowering Flourishes set it seemed to just fall together.  Hmm...it just might be one of this month's stamp a stack cards.  To see a few more cards using this sketch click  here.

RHSSC - Forever & Always

Today's Red Hot Stampers' sketch challenge turned into a wedding card.  I was working ahead for the challenge (which I rarely do!) and realized I never made a card for my niece's wedding that I had coming up.  Well, it quickly turned into a card with her wedding colors on it.  I loved how it turned out...and it could be used for a lot of other types of cards too.  To see a few more cards from the Red Hot Stampers sketch challenge click here. I decided to also enter this into the Less Is More challenge also after seeing it goes perfectly with this week's theme...the colors blue and green.

Blooming with Kindness

It seems like the last card I come up with for my stamp a stack always happens to be my favorite out of the group.  This card was pretty simple to make and only took Whisper White card stock.  I'm not usually a ribbon person even though I put it on a lot of cards.  I like how it looks, but it's not always the easiest to work with.  Believe it or not I love the new In Color satin ribbon!

Need for Speed

Good morning...today's card is the only masculine card the ladies made at my July stamp a stack.  I think it was the easiest of the five cards to make this time too.  Yup, guy cards are usually pretty simple and to the point.  Not so sure they'd enjoy getting a card with a lot of flourishes and flowers on it anyway. lol

To those of you who are new to my blog via my facebook page, welcome, and thanks for liking my page!  I've already posted one of the five cards earlier that we made.  I think (yes, think) this one was my second favorite for the month.  To see the card click here...it's the second card. :)

Thanks for looking and have a great day!
