Book Markers and Boxes...

Well, it's been a while since I've posted regularly.  Let's see if I can break that habit and get into the swing of things again.  The rest of this week and into next week I'll be posting a couple of pics each day of the things I made for my upline's open house.  I made eight things using the new Serene Silhouettes set and eight using the new Delicate Doilies Sizzlet, so that will give me a few days worth of posts.  Now let's see if I can add a sketch challenge in here every now and then too.  I wanted to make something more than just cards so I started with a set of book markers using each of the stamps along with sayings from a few other sets that are in the current catalog.

I know it's a little early for Christmas, but I wanted to copy something similar to what I made a while back using the Paper Doily die, but this one was smaller and much easier!  I made another ornament and box to put it in where you can see through the cover.  It takes a little bit of work, but it wasn't difficult at all.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Well, it's Father's Day today and what did I forget to do?  Give my dad his card yesterday because he's gone today!  I can't believe I did that, but it's too late now.  :(  So now on to today's Red Hot Stamper's card.  It's far from a Father's Day card though. lol  I really liked this sketch because I was able to quickly figure out and make what I wanted.  I did flip it though because that's what looked better with the set I used.  To see a few other cards with this sketch click here.

Yup, you know it's Sunday because I'm finally posting again for another Red Hot Stamper's Sketch challenge.  I had to think a little bit for today's card, but I knew I wanted it to be for a bridal shower because my niece is here from out of state and we have a shower for her today.

Welcome to another Red Hot Stamper's challenge and our last one for May.  I used the Daisies Flower #2 Bigz Die.  I'll sure miss using this one because you could make so many beautiful flowers with it.  Head on over to the Red Hot Stamper's sketch challenge here to see more cards.

Lovely as a Tree Father's Day Card

Today's card is another one I did for my May stamp a stack and not only did this set stay in the new catalog, but starting June 1 you can also purchase it as a clear mount!  Yes, I LOVE the clear mount stamps...so much easier to see what you're stamping.  Anyway, I was busy checking out cards for ideas when I saw this card from Tamie.  I liked it so much I had to case it...I just changed the colors.  You can check out her card and visit her blog here.

Today's card is one that we did at my May stamp a stack and it was a pretty easy card to whip out.  I only used one stamp set, one ink pad and three colors of card stock.  No cutting little things out, punching, embossing or using the Big Shot...not that I mind any of that stuff, but it sure may my prep work easy!! Yup, just sponging and stamping.  Oh, and the ladies told me my cards were pretty easy to do this time!  That was nice to hear. :)  I love this set and was so glad they carried it over to the new catalog!
