Fun Stampers Journey February Specials!

How to Register
Once you're on my website you'll go to the top right and click on "Shop".  Go to the top right corner again and put in the bundle order box (second box) BD-0235 and click the blue arrow to the right of the box.  The bundle will come up and you will need to add it to your cart.  It's as simple as that!  If  you haven't ordered from me before you will need to create an account.

What does the Bundle Include?

What are additional supplies needed?

If you live near me and are going to spend the day with me you do not need anything on the supply list.  I will provide any of the extras needed!  If you do not live near me and register through me I will send you the extra projects we will be making and I will purchase and send you either one of the splashes or two of the silks.  You will need to let me know what you want after you register and I will send them in plenty of time before the event.

Early Bird cost: $75- Register between Feb. 1-15
Regular cost: $99- Register between Feb. 16- March 6

My World January Bloom Box ~ Fun Stampers Journey Cards

I decided about a week and a half ago to start ordering Fun Stampers Journey Bloom box.  I loved the January set and was hoping to get it.  I thought I ended up ordering it too late, but I didn't!  Whatever month you order in you WILL get that Bloom Box!  

I did change just a few things up on my cards...where I placed sequins and a couple of the sentiment stamps, but I decided to just go with what they had for the most part.  Love how they turned out!  

For some reason I was thinking I'd have to change them up quite a bit because they didn't supply a bunch of stuff I needed...boy was I wrong!  The only two things I needed to supply from this set were the ink pads and the silk, which I happened to have both and could easily be replaced if you've never ordered from FSJ before.  I have to say this is actually a pretty good deal if you don't have a lot of time to craft or you don't want to deal with designing your own cards all the time.  

Now I have to show you this month's Bloom Box again and the cards are BEAUTIFUL!!

I'm finding out that this kit is SO worth the price!  It is $24.95 plus tax and shipping.  I've looked into past stamp sets from the kits and they run between $16.95 and $18.95.  If you add the cost of 4 prepped cards that you would pay to make at a SAS the cost would run between $28 and  $30 (that's with 10% shipping and my state's sales tax added to the stamp set and the $2 that I charge/card which is cheap compared to other areas!).  Not only do they have complete instructions they have tips for you too.

Stay Wild Birthday ~ A Fun Stampers Journey Card

It was my brother's birthday yesterday, so I created a card for him.  One thing he enjoys is rock climbing so I thought I'd make him a card of the outdoors and of course there had to be a mountain on it.

The picture below shows how my card started.  I used the stamp Stay Wild and inked it up with Lemon Grass, Green Olive and then Fresh Forest.  The first time I inked it up I made sure I inked only half of the stamp and didn't ink up the bottom of  it either.  I just slid each of the ink pads across it one after the other, then stamped it onto watercolor paper.  I repeated it a second time and moved it down just a bit.


After I had my stamped images on it was time to watercolor...and boy do I need to work on it! lol  Since I want to stick with all FSJ product when I'm creating I decided to buy a covered palette to store my watercolors in.  I got all of these colors with some of my Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencils.  I used to put it on a block and always wiped it away.  I didn't want to be wasteful so I took the time to put my favorite colors into the palette.  I think I did this before Christmas and hadn't touched them since.  Since then the water had evaporated and left me with dry colors to pull out whenever I need them!  Glad I got to try my hand at it again.  I REALLY need to practice more now that my busy January is over...whew!
