Can you believe it?!  I'm posting something to my blog and it's the middle of the week!  Ok, a day later than the middle of the week. ;)  I've still been busy creating cards, just not taking the time to blog what I've done. If I could just put a pic on I'd be all set, but I like to add at least a few words in with the pictures!  Today's card is one I actually  made almost a month ago to give to one of my coworkers.  I've always wanted to try making a rose, so thought I'd give it a try this time because I'd been giving 3-D type cards to the other ladies I work with.  I have to admit making this one was a little time consuming because it was my first try, but I loved how it turned out!  I'm just hoping the rose didn't fall off the card before she got it home! lol  I did make a second card that I'll post in a day or two...ok, maybe a little later than that.  The second rose went together a lot easier and it's put together better too.  I guess practice does make perfect...or at least starts heading you in that direction. :)  There are a lot of blogs where you can get instructions on how to make a rose, but this is where I found my instructions
simistamper.blogspot.com.  The two things I did differently is I didn't use glue...I used sticky strip instead, and I also snipped about an eighth of an inch into each "v" of the flower petal so it didn't rip when I was curling the petals (well I did on my second rose at least!).

Thanks for looking and have a great day!
