I created today's card for my husband's birthday the other day. I don't think it's ever taken me so long to paint something before! I kept fiddling with it instead of just letting it be finished. I had even taken the masking tape off and still messed with it!
This painting was inspired by Anastasia Mily. I love her paintings and enjoy watching her as she paints and sometimes I get ambitious enough to try what she does.
As soon as I saw her lighthouse painting that inspired my card I knew I wanted to paint it for my hubby. You can watch her HERE on YouTube. I am still trying to figure out how she manages to blend her colors together and keep her paintings so light! I guess the only way to figure it out is to keep painting! I'm so thankful for her and others that share their content so that I can learn from them!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
