Forever Blossoms ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

I'm back with another card today trying to do a technique that just did NOT want to work for me! What was the technique? Can you tell by the little snippet?
It's supposed to be the bleaching technique. I went over it four times! Four times and this is all that happened! I think the bleach I used is not the kind that works with this technique. lol Mine was a little thick instead of watery. Oh well, I tried so that's what counts.
This week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday it was a sketch challenge, a technique or both. I did both...kinda. lol Here is our challenge...
Make sure you check out what everyone created HERE and if you get a chance to play along we'd love to see what you create!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

  1. Sara, I think the subtle effect of your bleaching technique definitely adds to the beauty of this card. Also, so appropriate for a sympathy card. Beautiful!

  2. Love your take on this sketch and technique. The concept is great and I think even though the bleach might not have worked as well as you expected, you've come up with a very attractive and meaningful sympathy card. I love the use of Very Versailles as the background for the small layer and the overlaying of the sympathy stamp. Thanks for sharing.
