Today's card is one I made a couple of months ago for my dad's birthday.
He's loved sailing as long as I can remember, so I had to use the Sailing Home stamp set.
I tried to color it similar to his sailboat, but the sails are not the same at all!

I sponged the sky and water with ink and used watercolor pencils to color in the boat and lighthouse which are both fussy cut (even though I have the dies!). Sometimes I don't mind the die cut borders, but in this case I didn't want an edge. I also used an aqua painter to spread some of the watercolor pencil around on the boat and lighthouse.
