Today's card has an oldie, but goodie technique...spotlighting.
I needed an anniversary card for my dad and mom and using this technique allowed me to turn a cute stamp into an anniversary stamp by making the two birds prominent!
I don't have a lot of SU! product yet to "fill in" blank spots on my cards so I added a bunch of branches under the birds and colored them too. I didn't want the card to be too plain and boring!
I used my ink pads and an aqua painter to watercolor on this card. So easy to do and it always makes a card look great...at least I think it does. :)
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
