Lovely Day ~ A Fun Stampers Journey Card

Today's card was inspired by Journey Sketches #17.  Along with the sketch was an additional challenge to make a shaped card.  I went with any easy shape...a square.

I embossed the stamp set Lovely Day on watercolor paper and colored the flowers using Bubble Gum Liquid Color, then fussy cut them out. I used some Whip Cream Sparkle Tape and cut the width in half or maybe a little less since the thick strip just didn't look right.  I finished it off with a few pearls and a sentiment.  I made if for a friend who faithfully comes to my stamp a stacks and is recovering from surgery.
