Happy Birthday

Just a quick post for today...I made today's card for a coworker and I love how it turned out!  I think it's so soft and pretty.   Plus I found an easier way to make my carnations.  Well, an easier way to get the paper to separate without it tearing so it's thin enough to shape and mold.

Just a few close ups.  I always like to see cards up close.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

    1. Thank you, Amy. :) I have instructions with pics on this blog post...

I have made a couple changes though. I use Stampin' Up! scallop circle punches (2 3/8", 1 3/4" & 1 1/4")and trim the edges with the deckle scissors. Also I don't spray them anymore with water. I run them back and forth through a crimper. That goes faster, doesn't make a mess and pulls the paper apart SO much easier.

      Enjoy!
