Today's card was inspired by sketch #681 at Try a Sketch on Tuesday and the Double Trouble Challenge "Shades of Fall".
I used some retired product on this card because I had some leaves that had already been sponged and die cut sitting in the die folder. Why not use those, right? So then I added the embossed leaves on the bottom using an embossing folder, popped up the already made leaves, stamped a sentiment on the tag to add to the card and just like that it was done!
This is the sketch we are working with for the next two weeks. I didn't have any hexagons to put on my card so that's why I used the leaves I had on hand. And I put my sentiment where the fruits, veggies and ghost are on the right side of the card.
And this is the Double Trouble Challenge.

Make sure you check out what all of the other designer's created HERE. And if you get a chance to play along we'd love to see what you create!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Sara

Supplies used on this card:
CAS and pretty DT card and so fun when you find in your stash already blended, textured, colored that include the ingredients DTC's 3-2-1 recipe of 3-colors and 2-images and then the using the embossed background to meet the recipe. Now all you need to do is enter your card in DTC challenge to be eligible for Top 3 and random draw prizes.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Suzanne! That's definitely a great way to be able to create a card on the fly! I have it entered in the DTC challenge now. :)
DeleteWhat a beautiful array of color for your autumn card, Sara. I like that you replaced the hexagons with leaves — a nice interpretation.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Melanie! I say you can never go wrong with fall cards!
