Celebrate Sunflowers ~ A Stampin' Up! Card

Today I have a pretty sunflower card to share with you that was inspired by Try Stampin' on Tuesday's sketch challenge #568.
It's that time of year here in Michigan where the sunflowers are blooming and fall is just around the corner even though I don't want to admit it!! This stamp set is one that I don't use enough, but it creates beautiful cards when I do get it out and use it.
This is the sketch I used. I did change a couple of things because this is also one of my stamp a stack cards for this month and I needed to keep it relatively simple. I went with honeycomb instead of checker/gingham because I have NOTHING that is checkered or gingham in my stamping stash!
If you get a chance to play along we'd love to see what you create! Check out what the other designers created using this sketch HERE.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Sara

  1. Sarah, love the use of direct to paper inking you did for your honeycomb background! Did you ink the folder, or sponge afterwards? Such a beautiful sunflower!! -Donna
