Dear Rose ~ A Fun Stampers Journey Card

Well I have been a little slack in posting lately. :(  Do you ever get so busy that you can't even think straight...Yup, I was just about there!  Thankfully I'm through all of that and ready to share another card I made that was inspired by convention last month.
This was the first make and take from convention that I made.  If you were at convention you know that's not what was actually created!  Since I made this for my daughter's birthday I had to make it blue.  After all it is her favorite color!  I used Chambray Shirt for the card base instead of the green, but not because I didn't like the green...it is my favorite color after all!
I used two of our new ink colors...Chambray Shirt and Fresh Sage.  I also used Journey Color Splash penscils #21 & #25.  If you look closely I think you can see just a touch of the sparkle silk that I spritzed on the rose.  I always seem to have some sort of sparkle on my feminine cards! :)  I also used the birthday sentiment from Sentimental Prints that is now retired...but it wasn't retired when I made that card! ;)
Whip Cream
Fresh Sage
Chambray Shirt
Oatmeal Cookie

Thanks for looking and have a great day!
