You Stole My Heart ~ With Fun Stampers Journey

Today I have a fun Valentine card for you that was inspired by Try Stampin' or Not on Tuesday's sketch challenge #307 with the optional theme of Hugs & Kisses. :)  I used the new die from Fun Stampers Journey called Heart Strip Die Set.

Make sure you head over to Try Stampin's Blog HERE to see all the other great cards created by the design team using the sketch below.  We'd love to see what you create if you get a chance to play in your craft room. :)

To add shimmer to my hearts all I did was put a bit of Journey Glaze on them, rub it around with my fingers and spoon the Sparkle Dust dust over them and tap the excess off.  Definitely a quick and simple card to make!

Watermelon Fusion
Bubble Gum
Whip Cream

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

If You Dream It... ~ with Fun Stampers Journey

Hey Everyone...I'm back from Vegas and have been running like crazy ever since!  I guess playing catch up is not my thing! lol
I have to say I had a GREAT time at Fun Stampers Journey Leadership Conference!  If you ever want to be a part of a great company, let me tell you this is one that you will love!  Richard and Gabby Garay (the co-founders) are great people who love their coaches and show it!  I can't say enough about their generosity to all of us while we were at Leadership!  If you're thinking of joining I'd love to have you on my team!!

And now on to a card that I created for my upline's meeting last night.  She sent everyone in her downline candy dots and asked us to create a card or project with them.

This is one of the cards I created using the candy dots and it's going to sit on my desk to inspire me to dream big! :D

Wow...shimmer much? lol  Ok, it is shimmery, but not this much.

I created the background using my brayer.  I started with Bubble Gum ink and brayered it over the whole piece of card stock, then I added Watermelon Fusion.  You can see where the darker pink stops in the moon.  After I did those two colors I put a circle cut out of scrap paper on to create the moon, then brayered on Grape Fusion and finally Pretty  Pansy.  After I was done with the brayer I carefully took the "moon" off and spritzed the brayered background piece with Journey Silver Splash. Next I used Clear Pigment Ink and stamped the castle and words, then embossed them in silver.  The last step was to assemble the card and put on the finishing touch...the candy dots.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Summer Rose Swap with Fun Stampers Journey

*Update*
I'm excited to say I have a feature back that can link you directly to my website if you click on any of the products I have listed below. I will also have the colors I use on my project showing in one place...A color builder. Yes, I'm SO excited to have these features again!!!

Yesterday was quite the day for me and so much fun!  I'm in Vegas for Fun Stampers Journey LEAD WITH HEART Leadership Conference. I have to say I NEVER thought I'd be in Vegas!  I guess having a conference was the way to get me here! lol
Wednesday evening after registration and make and take prep we started with some swaps with the Amazing Bloomers group that is under Deb Valder.  Lots of great cards and 3-D swaps for sure!  I'll be posting some of them in the next week or so.  Right now I'd like to share my swap card with you.  I love how it turned out!  I'm always a little nervous about a swap, but then I get something done and it's either right or I'm starting over...and this one was right.

I took a couple pics of a bunch of the cards.  Not really sure how many I made, but I think it was around 44.

Just a straight shot of the card.  The silver ink is hard to get a good picture of let me tell you!

Whip Cream
Sweet Berry
And silver! :)

Just another pics of some of the cards.  They weren't too difficult to make, just time consuming because there were so many.  I pretty much made them the same way I explained in my previous post.  Yes, there's a bit of fussy cutting, but when you're making one or two cards it doesn't take much time at all!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Summer Rose Birthday ~ A Fun Stampers Journey Card

Hi Everyone!  I have a pretty clean and simple card to share with  you again today that is inspired by Try Stampin' or Not on Tuesday's sketch challenge #304.  I already had this stamp set and the two inks that I used on this card sitting on the table since I've been working on swaps for Leadership with Fun Stampers Journey!  Yes, that's a bit of a hint as to what my swap card will look like.  It's definitely not this one, but it shares the same sets and colors. And now I can't wait to learn what Fun Stampers Journey has to share with all of us at Leadership which is literally right around the corner!

This is today's sketch and the optional theme is "Old and New".  Almost everything on my card is new since I just made the switch to Fun Stampers Journey not too long ago! :)  The one thing that is old is the vellum paper that I used as the banner.  I have just a few sheets of it left and wanted to keep the look light so that's why I added it as the banner.

Make sure you check out all of the other fun cards HERE made using this sketch and play along if you get the chance.  We'd love to see what you create. :)

To create this card I used Journey Silver ink pad to stamp the background with the ATS stamp Postage Stamps.  I cut out a strip of  vellum paper and snipped the bottom to make a banner.  Then I stamped the rose base from the set Summer Rose using Sweet Berry.  I stamped it once on scrap paper, then onto my Whip Cream card stock to lighten the color.  Then I stamped the two other pieces I needed to complete the rose on top of the base I just stamped.  I did the same with the leaves and then fussy cut them all out.  I sponged around the edges of the flower lightly too.  It just finishes the rose off.  I popped the rose  with Journey Foam Squares and tucked the leaves underneath and attached them with glue dots.  To finish the card off I stamped Happy Birthday using the set Sentimental Prints and added three pearls.  Nice and easy! :)

Thanks for looking and have a great day!
