Happy Pink Poppies

Boy has it been snowy and cold in Michigan for the past couple of days.  I definitely wanted to make something with flowers for today's Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch challenge instead of  a wintery scene!  I love the new set Happy Watercolor, so I thought I would use the poppy along with the flower garden embossing folder.  Since there are pink poppies I thought I would make the card with pink instead of the more common poppy that is orange.  As I'm sitting here typing this I'm imagining that color would be pretty too.  Hmm...maybe a second card is in order.  We'll see...

Don't forget to check out what the other designers made HERE using this sketch.  Why not play along too if you get the chance. :)

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

    1. Thanks, Mary Jo! I'm snuggled in my basement by the wood stove and doing a little bit of stamping today. :)

  2. Sara, this is so pretty and I love how the embossing mirrors the colored flowers.
Hope you are staying safe and warm! Tomorrow is supposed to be a break in the cold for us. I certainly hope so!

    1. Thanks, Margaret! I hope you've been safe and warm too! I'm ready for a bit of a break from all this snow and blowing, but I don't want it to completely disappear...yet. Come March I'll be more than ready!
