The Open Sea ~ Father's Day Card #3

Father's Day is right around the corner.  Well not quite, but I don't want to be late with a card because it will be here before I know it!  The design for this card is from Stamping 411 Challenge 205.  As soon as I saw it I had this idea running through my mind and finally had a chance to sit down and make it.  SUO Challenge 20 is all about celebrating Father's Day, so this is definitely the card for that challenge too.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Stamp Set:  The Open Sea
Card Stock:  Night of Navy, Basic Gray & Whisper White
Classic Stampin' Pad:  Night of Navy
Embossing Folder:  Square Lattice

Can you tell I love sponging?  I think I do it on most of my cards.
I just like how it can help soften and blend pieces together a little better.

  3. Sara - this is just wonderful - inking the edges makes such a difference. And what a nice surprise inside the card! Fabulous job! Thanks so much for playing along this week at Stamping 411! Blessings, Gretchen
